A love nest in Limpopo

When 2018 started, Madifako had a string of resolutions to see through and falling in love was not one of them...not at all...matter of fact she had been contemplating leaving Trevor for sometime now because she had gotten tired of his shenanigans with yet another string, not of resolutions but of women. She had even coined a nickname for him MR NATIONAL because Trevor seemed to have a woman in all 9 provinces of South Africa. If it's not 015 calling it's 012 or 031 and the constant snooping in his phone had gotten the best of her because she couldn't address half the rubbish she came across in his phone with him because Trevor would always defeat her by asking, "Before I answer your question, what were you doing in my phone?"  And that would cripple Madifako and that conversation would go pear shaped. Madifako had had it. BUT then again, if she were to leave Trevor where would she find a single man looking for a 40 year old woman with children and baby daddy drama? Where would she find a man in his late 40s early 50s with no baggage filled with stamina, the kind of stamina Trevor the Ben 10 has because after a long day's of work Madifako always looks forward to swinging on the chandelier for her Ben 10 because Trevor is full of energy!

Love had become confusing somewhat, it just didn't make sense and Madifako, a single mother of 3 desperately needed stability and Trevor did not come across as the type that was working towards settling down especially with her. He probably liked the idea of being with a woman 8 years his senior and nothing else...she was a mission and he was to accomplish the mission...probably a story to tell his boys every now and again! 4 years into the relationship Trevor still felt like a stranger to Madifako because their conversations were always on the pillow and never in the study where plans are accomplished...Trevor just had no plan to make an honest woman of Madifako; a reality she did not want face but had to because Maya Angelou once said, " When people show you who they are, believe them." Madifako just didn't want to believe that Trevor 'was just not that into her' she didn't want to believe that he was stringing her along, she didn't want to see it! Besides, how could he not want all of her, she thought? Vuloptuous as she is, curves for Africa, breasts that could feed a nation, a brain as sharp as a dagger and straight as a ruler, a face that melts men of all races yet Trevor just didn't seem to appreciate it enough to put a ring on it!

"2018 had to be a better year..." thought Madifako. She believed there must be more to life than this. A woman should not be fighting to convince a man that she's the one. She needed a man who knew it and wanted it all. So 4 years later reality hit and Madifako had to pull a, "Trevor we need to talk!"
