A Love Nest in Limpopo (9)

"Actually, I have a suggestion...can we park the idea of making love until this process is done; create a semi-virgin out of you?" Madifako welcomed that suggestion with open arms as she needed to rid herself of Maanda Mudau's demons.

Trevor kissed Madifako on her forehead and asked to be excused to go make a call to his uncle to tell him the good news. He left the room and Madifako was left still swimming in her guilty thoughts of Maanda Mudau. Somehow the way she is feeling is not the way she expected to feel after a marriage proposal...She did a quick inventory of the situation and realised that:
1. She is getting married to a man 8 years her junior
2. That man is expecting a child with someone else
3. She has recently slept with a man she hardly knows
4. She has 3 kids that belong to 2 other men
5. She was just not sure about all that was happening to her...

Her phone rang and it was Maanda. "What does he want?" thought Madifako. She ignored that call, put the phone on silent and shoved it under her pillow.
"What's wrong angel?" asked Trevor as her hopped onto the bed smiling at his wife-to-be.
"Nothing why?" she said.
"You have this annoyed look on your face, o sharp?"
"I am okay thanks...what is your uncle saying?"
"He is so excited love. He actually made me laugh and said he was about to call me to ask me when I intend to settle down; so rest assured the Mkhabela's are more than happy that this is happening. One thing he told me though is that traditionally he will need your family's postal address so that my family can send an official letter to your family requesting an appointment."
"Oh ok..."
"Oh ok? Girl, give me that postal address. I need to send it to my uncle now. Why do you seem offish?"
"I am not offish Trev...maybe just a little overwhelmed realising that it's happening."
"Yes baby, it's happening you are soon going to be Mrs Madifako Beverly Mkhabela."

Trevor whistled into the bathroom and ran a shower. Madifako took the tray into the kitchen, did the dishes and got back to the bedroom to make the bed and as she took the phone from under the pillow, it rang again...It was Maanda.
"What do you want?", whispered Madifako
"Baby, I need to see you. I have not stopped thinking about you since day before yesterday. Time with you has made me realise what I have been missing in life and baby you are it. Please Madifako...I am begging you!"
"Maanda, I have nothing to say to you and please stop calling me." Madifako hung up and only got to take a good look at her call log and was thrown off when she noticed that Maanda had called her almost 10 times after she ignored his call and had sent tons more messages on WhatsApp; but what freaked her out most was the picture Maanda sent of himself with Madifako sleeping in bed captioned, "You are all I need."
